1) Do all exterior doors have good quality Deadbolt Locks?
2) If doors have glass, is the deadbolt a double cylinder1 type?
3) Are strike plates2 secured to framing?
4) Do solid doors have wide angle viewers?
5) Are doors leading to garages, basements as secure as exterior doors?
6) When you moved into your home, did you have all locks re-keyed?
7) If you have lost keys, have you had the lockes re-keyed to prevent someone who has found them from using them to gain entrance to your home?
8) Are windows opening onto patios, balconies or fire escapes locked securely at night?
9) Are shrubs and bushes trimmed low near doors to prevent a place of concealment?
10) Are all entrances llighted?
11) Are all exterior lights place high enough to prevent tampering?
